Ronan Meillour develops predictive models to improve nuclear dismantling safety

Ronan Meillour, a researcher at the National Polytechnic Institute of Brittany, has developed predictive models to quantify the impact of residual laser energy in nuclear dismantling. This innovation aims to reduce thermomechanical risks associated with laser cutting operations, thereby ensuring the safety of facilities. The thesis was validated in 2025 as part of the IRDL laboratory.
